The theme for this year’s TEDxMcGill event is “Kaleidoscope”.

It represents an opportunity to celebrate diversity, innovation, and the ever-evolving panorama of human creativity.

A kaleidoscope is an instrument that creates intricate patterns by reflecting and refracting light through an assortment of different mirrors, shapes and colours. Shift the kaleidoscope ever so slightly, and an entirely new pattern emerges. Just as a kaleidoscope's pattern results from the combination of various elements, TEDxMcGill is a platform where an array of perspectives, disciplines, and backgrounds converge. The kaleidoscope reminds us of the power of diverse ideas to inspire, challenge, and shape our understanding of the world.
